It all starts with a quick hello
If you’ve made it this far, it means something about my work spoke to you — and that means so much. I can’t wait to learn about you and bring your vision to life with warmth, care, and intention.
Your retainer holds your spot on my calendar just for you! Once your date is booked, I begin planning your session and turn away other potential clients for that same time. The retainer also covers the time and care that go into preparing for your session before the day arrives. Because of that commitment, retainers are non-refundable - but they ensure your date and experience are fully reserved and personalized just for you.
For regular sessions, my turnaround time is typically 1–3 weeks, and for weddings, 6–8 weeks. I pour a lot of love and care into each gallery, making sure your photos receive the attention they deserve.
Since I balance photography part-time alongside my full-time work, there may be the occasional delay if I have an influx of sessions - but I will communicate this to you. I truly appreciate your patience and understanding — it means the world and allows me to deliver a final gallery that’s every bit worth the wait.
I always encourage outfits that feel like you — comfortable, timeless, and true to your style. Neutrals and earthy tones photograph beautifully, and adding textures or layers can bring extra depth to your images. After booking, I’ll send over a prep guide with outfit inspiration and tips to help you feel more confident leading up to your session.
Alberta weather loves to keep us on our toes and guessing. If the forecast looks rough, we’ll decide together whether to reschedule, adjust the session time, or risk it all and embrace whatever the day brings us!
My favorite time to photograph is during golden hour — It's a dreamy window about an hour after sunrise or before sunset. The light during this time is soft, warm, and flattering, wrapping everything in a gentle glow.
That said, I can make any time of day work with the right location and a little creativity. Just keep in mind that midday sunlight tends to be brighter and harsher, which can affect shadows and tones. If that’s when we’re shooting, I’ll guide you toward shaded spots or indoor setups that keep everything looking beautiful and balanced.
